Overview
This policy covers navior.studio (“Navior,” “we,” “us”) — a directory of apps, tools, and creative work, run by one person. It applies to everyone who browses the site, subscribes to the newsletter, or submits a listing. Questions about any of it go to hello@navior.studio.
What we collect
Newsletter. Your email address, and whether you signed up as a reader or a maker — that’s the whole record.
Submissions. Your name and email, and the listing details you enter — product name, URL, description, and any deal information you add. This is stored as the listing itself, not filed away separately.
Click activity. When you click through to a listed product, we count it. The record used to prevent the same visitor from being counted twice a day is a one-way hash of your IP address — we never store the IP address itself, and the hash can’t be reversed back into one.
Traffic analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, once it’s switched on, gives us aggregate, cookie-free numbers — pages visited, rough location, referring sites. It doesn’t track you individually or across other sites.
Appearance preference. If you switch between light, dark, and system, that choice is saved in your own browser’s local storage. It never reaches our servers.
How we use it
To run the directory: publish and review submissions, send the roughly-weekly newsletter, keep the click counts that decide what’s trending, and reach you if something about your listing needs a closer look. Nothing here is used for anything you wouldn’t expect from a small, independent directory.
Who we share it with
Cloudflare hosts the site, the database, and (once enabled) the analytics — all under their own privacy terms. Stripe will process Spotlight payments once that’s live; we never see or store your card details, only that a payment went through. WordPress.com’s mshots service generates the live preview thumbnail shown for a submitted site — it only ever sees the public URL you listed, nothing personal. We don’t sell data to anyone, and we don’t share it beyond what’s needed to run the site.
How long we keep it
A submission record stays for as long as the listing is live. If we remove one, the record — and the reason — stays on file rather than being deleted outright, so there’s a paper trail if a refund or a dispute comes up later. Newsletter emails stay until you unsubscribe.
Your choices
Email hello@navior.studio to unsubscribe from the newsletter, ask what we hold on you, or have your submission or email address deleted. We reply ourselves — there’s no ticket queue — so it may take a day or two, but it happens.
Children
Navior isn’t directed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
If this changes, the date at the top will change with it. Nothing here is set in stone, but nothing changes quietly either.
